R Pete Peterson has aspirations to be a writer but says he just "gets bored and confused too easily" with his own work (he claims a thief stole the laptop with his "manuscript"). He has gotten paid for two or three middling pieces for a national political magazine, so he is technically correct to claim he is a published professional.

Peterson currently lives in Central America with a Brazilian woman known for occasionally wearing scant more than feathers in public and he haphazardly publishes on his blog The Last Chance Cafe.
